Surf Schools in Aberdeen 0
The thriving city of Aberdeen is rich in art, history, culture and granite architecture. Nestled between two rivers, the city has more sunshine than Birmingham and in mid to late June doesn’t get dark with the sun setting well after 10pm.
Aberdeen’s climate doesn’t make it an obvious choice for surfers, but its rugged hills, wild sand dunes and city access means it’s popular with the surfing community. The beach is a long crescent shape which picks up plenty of swell and generates fast, hollow waves. Further north, Balmedie, Lunan Bay and Lossiemouth, are also havens for surfers.
